CHELSEA NEW MAGNIFICENT STADIUM PLANS UNVEILS

New drawings and a model of a Chelsea’s proposed 60,000-seater stadium have gone on display at Stamford Bridge.

The exhibition, which started on Tuesday (September 1) and is running until Thursday (September 3), features improved images of the rough sketches previously released by the club of its ‘cathedral of sport’.

 

Running between midday and 8pm in the West Stand, the exhibition is allowing fans and residents a chance to view the plans and designs in greater detail than ever before.

Man finds wife naked in bed with her own dad, gets stabbed by father-in-law

Police in Oakland County say a man was stabbed by his father-in-law after finding the 47-year-old nude in bed with his wife — the man’s own daughter — and the older man is now behind bars.

The incident unfolded just after 3:30 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 100 block of W. Rundell Avenue in Pontiac, between Baldwin Avenue and Saginaw Street.

A 25-year-old man told police that he had arrived home and discovered his wife and her father completely nude, laying together in bed. The man woke up his father-in-law and got into an altercation that continued outside of the home.

That’s when the older man, since identified by police as Henry Allen Michael of Detroit, allegedly stabbed the younger man in the back with a knife.

Nigerian Senator, Lists Two Wives as Properties in Assets Declaration

Barely 48 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo made their assets declaration public, the senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has made public his assets.

Sani, in a statement on Saturday, declared that he had two wives and six children.

The senator’s assets and liabilities, he indicated, include a bank balance of N22m; seven houses in Kaduna, Abuja, Niger and Katsina states; “several vehicles,” two uncompleted office apartments in Kaduna; N5m in shares reportedly bought in 2007 and crashed in 2008; 30 books published in Nigeria, the United States and the United Kingdom with royalties; and a community journal titled "Peace Magazine".

Akpabio Dissociates Self From Twitter, Facebook Accounts

The Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has disowned twitter and Facebook accounts opened on his behalf, advising those who are doing so to desist from such.

He said he did not authorise or cause to be opened any Facebook or twitter account on his behalf.

He also charged Nigerians, particularly the political class, to desist from politicising disasters and tragedies, but should work towards the unity and progress of the country without any political or ethnic coloration.

In an unlikely coincidence, three Irish sisters gave birth on the same day at the same hospital. And what’s more remarkable is that their fourth sister was expected to give birth sometime soon after her 3 sisters! Jim Iyke Welcomes Baby Boy With A White Girlfriend (Photos)

According to The African Eye magazine, Jim Iyke and his 23 year old Lithuanian girlfriend Dana Kinduryte welcomed a bouncing baby boy, Harvis Chidubem Iyke, on September 1st at the Grady Hospital, Atlanta.

According to the African Eye report, Jim met Dana, a law graduate in London over a year ago but she didn't even know that Jim was a famous Nollywood actor until three months after they started dating.

Jim later moved Dana into his apartment in Atlanta five months after the couple found out they were expecting a child, and there he cared for her. Jim was reportedly present and assisted in the delivery of his first son.

Cultists in Lagos Bury Man Alive Inside Canal

Suspected cultists in the Mushin area of Lagos on Wednesday allegedly dragged  a motorist out of a commercial bus and buried him alive.

There have been an upsurge of cult clashes in Mushin and other area of the state recently.

The victim, who is yet to be identified is believed to be on his way to Oyingbo when he was accosted by the gang around Total bus stop.

Jacob Amos, an eyewitness said the incident happened around 8pm on Wednesday. He said he immediately told policemen at the Alakara police division  of the incidence.
